Tom Cowden 4-H Memorial Shooting Sports

Who: Youth can join the club (by choice of club leaders) at 8 years old. They, however, cannot compete outside the club events until they are 9 years of age as of January 1 of the current year. This club is for youth who are interested in learning more or becoming better at shooting in a variety of disciplines.

What: Youth who join this club practice and learn about shooting sports, safety, and discipline. They are taught by certified coaches and, most importantly learn about the safety and care of firearms and bows, as well as shooting techniques and practices.

Why: Youth in this club have the opportunity to learn from certified coaches and significantly increase their knowledge of firearms. Youth will gain leadership and citizenship skills through practice and being active in the club. This club completes community service projects and has been Club of the Year for many years.

When: The Fun Shoot is the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10:00 am-Noon.
