The cost of groceries and other goods and services have skyrocketed during the pandemic. The N.C. Cooperative Extension, Davie County Center will offer an upcoming class titled, Saving Cents: Simple Strategies to Maximize Your Food Budget. Participants will learn simple tips to use before, during, and after shopping to stretch their grocery budget. This class will discuss simple strategies to help save on grocery costs, such as meal planning, understanding sell by and use by dates, unit pricing, food preservation, and more.
The class will be held on Thursday, December 2 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Davie County. The class is free. Register online or call 336-753-6100. Space is limited. Participants are requested to wear masks.
