County Council

Who: Youth ages 11 - 18 who are interested in learning more about leadership, program planning for the county, and those who are willing to help make 4-H a better place!

What: County Council is a Teen Group that meets once a month and acts as a youth advisory council for the Davie County 4-H Program. These youth plan programs, and activities for the county 4-H program and are leaders within the program.

When: The 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5:30  - 7:00 pm.

Where: N.C. Cooperative Extension, Davie County Office
642 Wilkesboro St. Suite 100, Mocksville NC 27028 (Davie County Annex)

Why: This is a great opportunity for youths who have the leadership potential to be a larger part of the 4-H program in Davie County. They plan large-scale programs, hold leadership roles, and serve as ambassadors to clubs and county leaders.

How much experience do I need: None. If you are interested in learning more or being a part of 4-H and other clubs may not be the best fit, then come on out and join us. Everyone in 4-H needs a place to call home. Make a difference by joining the County Council.

Who do I contact: Abby Williams
