The Piedmont Medicinal Herb Growers group is presenting two programs in March.
  • Growing Lavender and Comfrey for Production – Monday, March 27th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Join us for a class on growing lavender and comfrey for production and sale. We will discuss production, harvest, drying, and marketing. The location is the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Iredell County office, 444 Bristol Dr., Statesville, NC. The cost is $12. Registration is through Eventbrite. This event will be offered both in-person and on Zoom. When registering, please select the ticket for the way you plan to attend.
  • Accessibility Herb Walk at Greensboro Arboretum – Friday, March 31st from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. (Rain date for this event is Friday, April 7th.). Join us for a plant identification walk designed for accessibility. We will tour the Greensboro Arboretum and identify medicinal plants. The walkways are paved and easier to navigate than most plant walks. The location is the Greensboro Arboretum, 401 Ashland Dr., Greensboro, NC. The cost is $5. Spaces for this walk are limited to 25 participants and registration is first-come, first-served. Registration is through Eventbrite.
