Collapse ▲Piedmont area Horticulture Agents are excited to announce that we are starting the Piedmont Medicinal Herb Growers Group. Anyone who is growing or interested in growing medicinal herbs is welcome to attend.
We will be kicking off this new program with a meet and greet to be held in-person at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Davidson County Center located at 301 East Center Street, Lexington, NC. If you are interested in learning about medicinal herbs or growing them, we welcome you to join us. A brief presentation will be presented on basic medicinal herb resources. Light refreshments incorporating herbs will be served.
Register for the meet and greet through Eventbrite.
Later programs will include educational sessions on topics like the basics of growing medicinal herbs, harvesting, and making vouchers for plant identification. The September program will be “So You Want to Grow Medicinal Herbs?”, the basics of medicinal herb growing, and will be held in Davie County.
