Farmers Markets Starting Soon

Farmer’s markets provide a great opportunity to support our local farmers by purchasing local fruits, vegetables, meat, and eggs. We are fortunate to have three farmers markets in Davie County. Two of them are starting their 2019 season this week while the third market runs during the winter.

The markets that run Spring to Fall are:

  • Bermuda Run Farmer’s Market – located at 111 Peachtree Lane, Bermuda Run. This is on the corner of Hwy 801 and Peachtree Lane, in the field behind the Bojangles. Hours are 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Fridays from April 26 to November 1, 2019.
  • Mocksville Farmer’s Market – located at Junker’s Mill Outdoor Theatre at 107 S. Salisbury Street. It is just across from the Mocksville Town Hall Parking Lot located at 171 S. Clement Street in Mocksville, just a block down W. Depot Street from the town square. Hours are 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays from May 1 to October 30, 2019.

The farmers’ market that runs in the winter:

  • Brantley Farms Market – Brantley Farms, 302 Brantley Farm Road, Mocksville. The market is held on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during November and December, and then resumes in February and runs through April until the other two markets open.
